Med City Nursing Alliance is a Grassroots movement started by Mayo Clinic Rochester RN‘s and LPN‘s who have come together to advocate and support nurses in Rochester, MN. We have a duty to our patients to insure that they are being taken care of by nurses who are appreciated, compensated, supported, respected, and valued by the hospital they work for. Help us bring a true voice and representation to the Board of Trustees whom are making top-down decisions that affect everyone in our community.
Each one of us brings a unique perspective, background, and experience to every patient we care for. They are our “why”. They deserve our best when they are feeling their worst. Help us empower, serve, and unite every nurse who so proudly puts the needs of their patient‘s first.
At MCNA we are dedicated to advocating for Nurses and LPNs.
”I am no longer accepting the things I cannot change. I am changing the things I cannot accept.”
-Angela Davis
At MCNA we believe that every nurse has the capability of impacting every patient they care for. By creating job satisfaction, community integration, financial stability, and affordable access to the best healthcare in the world, our nurses will transcend joy across our hospital campuses and around the world.

Med City Nursing Alliance is a nonprofit Independent Union created for the betterment of all nurses serving the patients at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.
Our team of Nursing Advocates is comprised of eight members that negotiate, cooperate, and campaign for nursing rights and wellbeing. Each Division of Nursing has a devoted Nursing Officer whose primary role is to validate, defend, and convey each units heaviest burdens to the Nursing Advocacy team. There are 34 Nursing Officers that are present each day caring side by side within our hospital units. They see and feel all that is happening during this tremendously difficult time in healthcare.
Med City Nursing Alliance has the opportunity to collectively bargain for each and every one of the 9,428 nurses at Mayo Clinic, Rochester. What is needed from each and every one of them is their acknowledgment and permission for MCNA to do so by signing a ”Collective Bargaining Authorization Card” which permits MCNA to petition the Nation Labor Relations Board for Unionization.
Help us make a difference in Nursing lives by giving a donation to Med City Nursing Alliance. Every contribution will be allocated to our mission and the advancement of nursing education in specialty certifications to better serve our patients.
